[Shotwell] shotwell does not start

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and shotwell 0.8.1 from ppa.
I can not start shotwell. When i send „shotwell“ to a terminal, i see
this error 
"Unique-DBus-WARNING **: Error while sending message: Did not receive a
reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a
reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply
timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
And I see, that shotwell is using about a 600 MB of RAM, and between
70-80 percent of CPU.
This error occures after 10 - 20 minutes after sending a command to a
terminal. 
I have only security updates enabled.
