I use tags for that: I have a branch called 'To do' that includes
'change date', 'delete', 'export' and stuff like that.

Any time I notice a photo with the wrong date, I tag it 'change date'.
Later on I filter this very tag, I change all the dates and remove the
tag afterwards. This is especially convenient because in my experience
the photos with wrong date usually come in groups (e.g. camera with
wrong time zone), and you need to do a 'time shift' of the same amount
to all of the group.
