contributions from the community, so if you have ideas on how to make
Shotwell better, feel free to check out a copy of the code and start working
with it.

So, a couple of things:

For new features of this magnitude, it may be helpful to file feature
requests first at http://redmine.yorba.org/projects/shotwell; this way, in
addition to possibly scheduling internal resources to help you, we can get
comments from other users and think about how your proposal can best be
integrated into Shotwell.
