Here's a useful task for someone, with python and regular expressions:

This script, that we use via docextract_to_xml.py
http://git.gnome.org/browse/pygobject/tree/codegen/docextract.py
needs to strip out (or even create extra XML nodes for), these new
annotations:
http://live.gnome.org/GObjectIntrospection/Annotations

I'm pretty sure I can do it. I'll report back just as soon as I have
something working.

Did you make any progress?

Yes, I just finished. I was about to open an enhancement bug with a patch to be reviewed along with some differences for comparison of the output of the scripts. I'll open it in a little, if that's okay.

This is now done. Please see the filed enhancement request bug:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=615136

I didn't want to mention this because I didn't want to make a big deal about it, but since saying that I was going to post the enhancement bug until today, I've been experiencing severe hardware crashes. It's made it almost impossible for me to do anything. At first I thought I could work around the problem so I didn't say anything, but now it is clear that it wont be easily solved (my system continues to crash sporadically, freezing or shutting itself off for no apperent reason, continually interrupting my work). I wanted to mention this in case my system completely crashes which means I can no longer work until the problem is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
