I tried this and now I'm not really sure that the widget should
actually be embedded in the text. Perhaps it's better to open a new
window (without decorations and place that above the text? Hmmm,

Of course. I was looking in the TextBuffer part of the reference but
the actual gui should obviously happen in the TextView. Thanks :-)
