I don't think it will break the ABI to just change it, but I would prefer=
 to do
that in gtkmm 2.9/2.10. Any use of it now would crash or cause memory
corruption anyway.

I changed configure.in and examples/book/Makefile.am so that they don't a=
sk for
recent_files/, as that's still to be done.

There were some typos in recentchooser (function names, Gtk namespace lef=
t
open). You should really take a look at what I did in recentchooser.ccg:
set_sort_func(). There's an undefined pSignalProxy passed to the gtk func=
tion,
and I changed that to use SlotCompare* slot_copy, which is hanging otherw=
ise.
As you see I didn't go very deep into this and what was meant to be, and =
so if
this isn't it than correct me.

Without all this I couldn't compile.

And there's initial CellRendererSpin.
