yep, there's no keymap under xvfb, which we run the tests under.
The aim of course is only to make a Gtk2::Gdk::Event which the binding
mechanism will dispatch as "Return". Does the "hardware_keycode" or
whatnot lookup go a different way under xvfb? It must be possible to
synthesise something suitable mustn't it.
