Thanks for the hint!

I ripped out the CustomList package and modified it to suit my needs
(adjusted the record stuff).

if I call Filer::ListStore->new:

Can't locate object method "new" via package "Filer::ListStore" at
/home/jens/devel/filer/Filer/FilePane.pm line 96.

I wonder why it doesn't work - my implementation is basically the same
thing as CustomList.
