Re: item factories revisited

Hi Gavin,

I would be grateful if people on the list could test this script and
tell me if they see the following:

* top level menu items print a line when clicked
* the first time a second level item is clicked it prints a line
* any future clicks on second level items do nothing

On my system:

* top level menu items items always print the line
* the second level items never prints a line (not even the first time
is clicked), except in one case: if you click "Submenu", then click
"Submenu Item #N", the line will always be printed. This is valid in
any combination of clicks, provided you click "Submenu" before
"Submenu Item".

Like Pascal, I've defined "Submenu" as <Branch>, with the same result.

If there any reason why a click on "Submenu" would have this effect?

I've verified this on three separate systems (all RH9, but one using
XD2) and i'd like to see if it happens on other distros.

LFS, GTK version 2.2.2, Gtk2-Perl version 0.92 (just upgraded, tried with
0.91, same effect).

Hope this helps,
Tudor
