From thos at gnome.org Mon Jun 19 18:22:43 2006 From: thos at gnome.org (Thomas Wood) Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2006 23:22:43 +0100 Subject: GNOME Art @ GUADEC Message-ID: <449723B3.8090804@gnome.org> There are several things we could discuss at GUADEC this year, and since many of the artists and maintainers of art modules will be there, it has been suggested we hold an informal meeting. There is a gnome.org revamp discussion at 10am on Thursday, 29th, which I assume a lot of you will already be interested in, so I suggest that just afterwards (11am), would be a good time to get together. Here are a few points I think we could discuss: * Tango: It's role in GNOME and other distributions * The future of gnome-themes - What themes to include - What license to use * Improvements and changes to the default theme - Where are we heading? * Revamp of GNOME theme manager * Meta-Theme packaging * plus anything else people want to discuss! Anybody is welcome to attend, although I think we might be a bit rushed for time if we only get have an hour! If the time causes a problem for anyone (such as you are not there on Thursday), please let us know so we can try and accommodate. -Thomas From thos@gnome.org Mon Jun 19 18:16:52 2006 Return-Path: X-Original-To: gnome-themes-list@gnome.org Delivered-To: gnome-themes-list@gnome.org Received: from localhost (unknown [127.0.0.1]) by menubar.gnome.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 78C7F3B0DFC for ; Mon, 19 Jun 2006 18:16:52 -0400 (EDT) Received: from menubar.gnome.org ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (menubar.gnome.org [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id 04558-08 for ; Mon, 19 Jun 2006 18:16:49 -0400 (EDT) Received: from orion.thos.me.uk (88-96-30-66.dsl.zen.co.uk [88.96.30.66]) by menubar.gnome.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9F44D3B0E67 for ; Mon, 19 Jun 2006 18:16:48 -0400 (EDT) Received: from 88-96-30-67.dsl.zen.co.uk ([88.96.30.67]) by orion.thos.me.uk with esmtpa (Exim 4.50 #1 (Debian)) id 1FsS1T-0006J5-B2 for ; Mon, 19 Jun 2006 23:15:07 +0100 Message-ID: <449723B3.8090804@gnome.org> Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2006 23:22:43 +0100 From: Thomas Wood User-Agent: Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 (X11/20060516) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: gnome-themes-list@gnome.org Subject: GNOME Art @ GUADEC Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new at gnome.org X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.426 tagged_above=-999 required=2 tests=[AWL=0.038, BAYES_00=-2.599, FORGED_RCVD_HELO=0.135] X-Spam-Score: -2.426 X-Spam-Level: X-BeenThere: gnome-themes-list@gnome.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.8 Precedence: list List-Id: GNOME and GTK+ Themes List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2006 22:16:52 -0000 There are several things we could discuss at GUADEC this year, and since many of the artists and maintainers of art modules will be there, it has been suggested we hold an informal meeting.
