Hi!

I guess you should just report a bug against the package 'pm-utils' in
Ubuntu's Launchpad (http://www.launchpad.net). I don't think your
problem is with gnome-power-manager: this tool is only telling pm-utils
to suspend the system, and I does not manage the actual process after
that.

Just give there the informations of your mail, maybe attaching the
complete relevant syslogs too, and the output of 'lspci -vnn'.
