Hello.
I have just recently installed gnome-power-manager, however suspend/hibernate does not work.
If i click hibernate, it reports:
HAL failed to hibernate.
Check the FAQ for common problems.
I recently installed suspend2, and it works from the command 'sudo hibernate'.
I had a look through the mailing list archives, and although I saw other people with the same problem (e.g. Simon Hjorth Bøggild [
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-power-manager-list/2006-October/msg00000.html]
and Alexander Skwar [
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-power-manager-list/2006-September/msg00011.html ], I could not find any solutions.
I am running gnome-power-manager 2.14.3 on a Debian (etch) system.
How does gnome-power-manager call the suspend? Is it calling the script correctly?
Cheers,
James Utter
