That's why e.g. Totem needs to inhibit (e.g. take a lock) on the screen
saver (which in turn inhibits the power manager).

Well, IMO it's a useless option that clutters the UI [1]. I'm fine with
having it in gconf though.

[1] : I really really like the settings UI in g-p-m 2.16. Looking at CVS
HEAD, at least a few weeks ago, it looked like the road to disaster
(sorry if this is flaming). Has anyone filed a bug on it yet?
