[gpm] Slight issue with notifications

Through no fault of gpm, I am getting a repeated notification about my
battery being fully charged - The problem is with the battery itself -
it IS fully charged, but it keeps fluctuating (why did I buy a second
hand battery?) and so I get a notification every 10 seconds or so that
the battery is charged - is there any way to set it to not show so
often?  I didn't see anything, but maybe there is something in Gconf?
