Sorry if this doesn't get threaded properly, but the answer is that you want to add a custom fdi file to set the hibernate method to be /usr/sbin/hibernate. (or what ever)
Uhm, you now what - I think, I'll just go the ugly way and modify
/etc/acpi/hibernate.sh. That might not be in the "true spirit" or
something, but that's *WAY* easier than understanding how fdi works
and all that.
