I wrote a page on the wiki about sandboxing:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/SandboxedApps/Sandbox

It lists what xdg-app currently does for sandboxing, what we
additionally would like to do. It also lists the changes we need to the
overall system to make sandboxing secure for desktop applications, as
well as some ideas of how to start making sandboxed apps integrate with
the desktop.

Thanks for doing this. I'd like to make a couple posts on this on
social media with some vetting by folks here. I rather we slowly get
the public used to what we are doing rather than springing it on them.
:-) A number of us have already made public presentations at
conferences, and I know I've made comments as well, but I don't think
people have completely grasped the revolutionary nature of this and
its effect on distros.
