Hi,

I would like to make a "final" release of some of the Gtk2::* Perl modules that
you currently have archived.  

In the final releases, I would formally mark the modules as deprecated in favor
of using GTK+3 and gobject-introspection for accomplishing the same tasks, and
then upload the deprecated modules to CPAN, where they are most commonly found.

If it's possible, could you please unarchive the following modules:

https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/perl-Gtk2-GladeXML/
https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/perl-Gnome2-GConf/
gnome.pt should redirect to gnome.org
planet.gnome.pt and planeta.gnome.pt should be a Portuguese speaking planet
installation.

To start with, you can import all the feeds at http://planeta.br.gnome.org/
Please set up 2016.guadec.org.

It should be a Wordpress instance, which can be a clone of 2015.guadec.org (in
fact, that would probably be quite helpful). In the mean time, guadec.org
should be updated to redirect to 2016.guadec.org
Both added, please test them out and eventually mark the bug as resolved if
they're working as expected.

Looks like they got added to #gnome-documents instead of #documents. :) Could
you please move them to #documents?
The engagement team are planning to retire https://www.gnome.org/applications/.
The page has been removed from the site's navigation, and we'd like to remove
it altogether.

It would be great if a redirect to https://www.gnome.org/gnome-3/ could be set
up first, so that visitors don't get an error.
wiki.gnome.org seems to be unavailable, returning an HTTP 503.
This was caused by a stuck update, and fixed.

a few questions:

1. do you want the GNOME Sysadmin Team to manage the domain nameservers as
well? if yes, we can include a new zone file on our DNS servers right away. 

2. do you have the planet configuration / theme handy already?
I'm not sure what the policy with these kind of requests is to be honest. I'm
CCing Javier as he might be able to provide us an answer as he's currently one
of the members of the GNOME release team.

Great you can look into it; as far as a deadline the initial request is from
2012 so I think whenever you can do it is fine.
There is no Github mirror of Polari [0] repo. Is this intentional or just a
miss? Would be great if it can be set up. Corresponding tracking/discuss bug

Andrea, you can perhaps create a listener to github PR hooks, and when PR is
made, makes a comment to that PR, about guidelines on submitting this to GNOME.
With rich Github API and webhook, this will be a cakewalk. This is something we
did for my GSoC project in CentOS [0]. Facebook Github repo does similar thing,
though they do this to make them sign the CLA [1].

2016.guadec.org is up, 2015.guadec.org has been archived and made available as
a static copy of the 2015 website. 2016.guadec.org is a perfect copy of this
past year edition, same set of users, same set of files, same set of
configuration parameters.

The domain is currently registered through GANDI, do you need me to make the
GNOME admin team the technical contact for this domain? Feel free to send me
the GANDI login by mail if it's not public already.

I don't have either of those.
Seems this is related to the Github mirroring hook failing wit=
h "'ascii' codec
can't encode character u'\xfc' in position 965: ordinal not in range(128)&q=
uot;, I
assume this is caused by the script not properly handling the =C3=BC on Flo=
rian's
last name. The script is not properly handling the encoding. Will look into=
 it.
An update on this:

1. Bastien moved the name servers for the gnome.pt zone to the GNOME ones
2. A zone for gnome.pt was added on the GNOME servers
3. www and gnome.pt do redirect to www.gnome.org

The planet will be a clone of Planet GNOME with different feeds and header.
