How to change the screen resolutionGNOME Documentation Projectgnome-doc-list@gnome.orgApril Gonzalesloonycookie@gmail.comWhy does everything on my screen look so big?
Your font resolution settings may be set very high. You can change it to a lower setting to make the font appear smaller. To do so:
Select SystemPreferencesAppearance.
Select the Fonts tab.
Click on the Details button. This brings up the Font Rendering Details window.
On the field next to the label Resolution, type in the font resolution you wish to use. Remember that using a lower number decreases the size of the font. A resolution of 96dpi is recommended, however, you may opt for a different resolution, depending on your screen.
Click the Close button to go back to the Appearance Preferences window.
