I was having problems already reported with GZip filter and today I decided to check the file lorem-ipsum.txt.gz used by gmime-3.2.7 to test if the filter is working an the test says OK but when I try to decompress using the command below I have an error.
/tmp $ gzip -d -v -c lorem-ipsum.txt.gz
lorem-ipsum.txt.gz:
gzip: lorem-ipsum.txt.gz: invalid compressed data--format violated
