Hi,
I have some messages which have invalidly encoded fields -- basically fields
incorrectly claiming they are utf8. e.g
Subject: Re: =?utf-8?B?UGlk5HR0ZWv2IHR59nN05G5uZT8=?=
which causes GMime (at least v 2.4.24) to return non-valid utf8. I worked
around this in my code by checking, and (ugly hack) replacing non-utf8 with
dots, but it'd be nice if GMime could guarantee that whatever it returns is
always valid UTF8.
Best wishes,
Dirk.
