Hi guys.
Thanks for all your help. This is the code I ended up deploying. I have procmail setup to filter problem e-mails through the below program. I had some problems with passing stdin to g_mime_stream_file_new, so I read the message from stdin myself with a while loop.

#include <glib.h>

g_mime_object_get_content_type_parameter(part, "name"))
return 1;
else
return 0;
}
int remove_part(GMimeObject *parent, GMimeObject *part) {
int attachment = is_attachment(part);
if (attachment && GMIME_IS_MULTIPART(parent)) {
g_mime_multipart_remove((GMimeMultipart*)parent, part);
