Yes, it should.  That's a bit of a trick, because currently Geary treats the Inbox as a top-level childless folder.  I did see this when I was working on the other problem, I forgot to ticket it -- my fault.

Are you having trouble seeing other folders?  Geary has a couple of issues with non-ASCII folder names, but otherwise you should see them (as long as they're not children of INBOX).
