Maybe it was a end-user prob. I don't know. It works now that I patched
it with the patch.

AFAIK, things should work under Exchange 2000 as well as 2003. Earlier we had an Exchange 5.5 server which does not work properly with connector and evolution.

You're right. Calender does not work.

Once I got "Microsoft Exchange" as an option, I regained my calendar on the Exchange server.


Regarding my earlier problem, viz

This was resolved when I Read The Directions in README in evolution-2.0.2 and did what it said (brown paper bag over head time).

adding the right lines. Then, Microsoft Exchange as a possible Mail receiving service, which was available in connector, was found by evolution and could be selected, as well as for sending mail (but outbound sending mail doesn't really go - it just accumulates in an Outbox "On This Computer". When I actually need to send mail I fire up mutt and connect to my local sendmail. Not quite all the way there:)
