Thanks for the information, but I do already have all three packages from ekiga.org. The issue is not those packages, it is that during my ekiga build, it says I cannot continue because the build requires the opal headers. There is a version of the opal-dev package in synaptic, but that version of the headers requires that I install an older version of opal, effectively stopping my ekiga installation. Is there a place to get the opal headers that match the
2.2.11 opal files? This is what I need to continue building ekiga.

Thanks!

On 9/29/07, David Corking <

It is easiest to either get all three as deb packages (ekiga opal and
pwlib) or to compile all three from source (./configure, make etc) to
make sure you have matching versions.

So I suggest you remove those header packages that synaptic found, and
then install the ekiga deb from http://www.ekiga.org/

Reason to get all packages from the same place is that many recent
ekiga bug fixes are actually not in ekiga but in opal and pwlib.
Therefore the pwlib and opal packages on www.ekiga.org are actually
development snapshots, rather that official releases - these snapshots
