You need to be registered to an ekiga.net account to call 500 at ekiga.net account. Unfortunately no. There is/was a bug report similar to this in bugzilla. Please check a bit http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Manual to have more information. -- Eugen From eugen.dedu at univ-fcomte.fr Thu Oct 30 10:45:40 2014 From: eugen.dedu at univ-fcomte.fr (Eugen Dedu) Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2014 11:45:40 +0100 Subject: [Ekiga-list] Installation with Win 8.1 In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <545216D4.4000302@univ-fcomte.fr> On 29/09/14 09:03, Max Weinberg wrote: > Hello everybody, I am new here and perhaps my question has already be answered, > but if so, I did not find the answer. What version of ekiga do you use? Problem 1. seems due to firewall problems. We need the -d 4 log from both parties. Problem 2. Is this on windows or linux? On windows it should work, it is very strange it does not. On linux there could be some problems with notification. Why do you write that you use firefox? It has nothing to do with ekiga! -- Eugen From manirahmed02 at gmail.com Thu Oct 30 13:30:40 2014 From: manirahmed02 at gmail.com (Manir Ahmed) Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2014 06:30:40 -0700 Subject: [Ekiga-list] Getting problems to connect Ekiga.. When you are in different networks, you need: - either register each Ekiga as a user on the same registrar (e.g. ekiga.net) - or call directly using IP address, cf. http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Manual#Calling_IP_to_IP_directly On 30/10/14 14:30, Manir Ahmed wrote: > Thank you sir for your reply. > > Sir, I don't have accounts in the PCs.
