Message-ID: <53A1409D.5090301@gmail.com> is it possible to "send" a single ldap entry "to" ekiga, and the return the modified record "to" ldap? I would like to treat the directory as a queue. Specifically, there should *not* be random access to the queue, it should not be brows-able, all the agent should get is one entry at a time. Modifying the entry is optional. or, maybe is ldap not right technology? I've only really read what's on the ekiga site about it, and a few others. This is envisioned for a single agent, but possibly that might increase, so that a group of agents might share a queue, but an entry would only go to a single agent. I was looking at: http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Manual#Add_a_remote_address_Book_.28LDAP.29 with the condition that the agent should only have access to one record at a time. thanks, Thufir From robert at theloveplan.org Sat Jun 21 01:57:51 2014 From: robert at theloveplan.org (Robert Drury) Date: Fri, 20 Jun 2014 21:57:51 -0400 Subject: [Ekiga-list] hey Message-ID: <53A4E69F.5030403@theloveplan.org> I truly want to correspond with people on this list but I cannot understand HOW after 20 YEAR of working in computer applications in the "internet age". Just to say that this would prevent ekiga to browse LDAP entries, for ex., but it does not prevent people to use another (simple) program to do whatever they wish with the LDAP server. -- Eugen From drmesmith at yahoo.com Sat Jun 28 14:48:17 2014 From: drmesmith at yahoo.com (Mark Smith) Date: Sat, 28 Jun 2014 09:48:17 -0500 Subject: [Ekiga-list] ekiga.net Could not register (Globally not acceptable) In-Reply-To: <539C9AFB.9060902@yahoo.com> References: <539C9AFB.9060902@yahoo.com> Message-ID: <53AED5B1.4080102@yahoo.com> On 14/06/14 20:56, Mark Smith wrote: It has been several years since I was able to use my ekiga.net account.
