[Ekiga-list] Will not connect to test call

I reregistered to Ekiga and did it properly this time.  The test call
during the set up went well.  I tried the test call after the setup was
complete and it failed to connect to it and there is not record of the
call in the call history.  In the URL box I had entered:
sip:500 at ekiga.net

I also just upgraded the computer to Ubuntu 7.10 before reregistering
with Ekiga.

Any ideas on the problem will be greatly appreciated.
