[Ekiga-list] ekiga and windows XP: no sound and video and bad sound

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to run Ekiga under windows XP. I followed the instructions
from http://snapshots.voxgratia.org/win32.php. (ekiga 2.1.0)

I have two problems:
 * no sound/video at all when calling sip:500 at ekiga.net
 * bad sound when running the audio test

The setup druid worked but when testing the audio, there is an awful
sizzling noise superposed to my own voice (but I can still hear my
voice). The video tests seem to work.

The "sound events" from ekiga are clear. And recording my voice with the
windows recorder is ok.

When trying to call sip:500 at ekiga.net , the call seems to work, but I
cannot hear nor see anything.

I'm behind a "port restricted" NAT router, and there is no firewall on
the windows box.

It's probably not a network nor a webcam problem as everything (video
and sound) works from another computer using the ubuntu edgy version of
ekiga (2.0.3) (behind the same router and using the same webcam).

Can anyone help me findind what is the problem ?

Thank you !
