Hi Damien,

ok, I post my output in pastebin, url: http://pastebin.com/898611

I also test the for lines you gave me,
it kind of works as I can ear me a little at the beginning,
then the echo is so strong that I can't ear anything after a little.
Overall, the sound is really really weird...

Spok.

Can you post somewhere (pastebin for example)
the output of :

ekiga -d 4 > output.txt 2>&1

Thank you,

PS: there is nothing in the current trace that could help.

Notice that Ubuntu Edgy has some severe bugs, perhaps ALSA bugs.
I can not know yet if you have audio or network problems.

Try this :
arecord -D plughw:0,0 -c 1 -r 8000 -f S16_LE - | aplay -D plughw:0,0 -c
     1 -r 8000 -f S16_LE -

arecord -D plughw:0,0 -c 1 -r 16000 -f S16_LE - | aplay -D plughw:0,0 -c
     1 -r 16000 -f S16_LE -

arecord -D default -c 1 -r 8000 -f S16_LE - | aplay -D default -c
     1 -r 8000 -f S16_LE -

arecord -D default -c 1 -r 16000 -f S16_LE - | aplay -D default -c
     1 -r 16000 -f S16_LE -

Do the 4 of them work ?
Do you hear yourself back correctly when speaking ?

Make sure to use at least Ekiga 2.0.5.

Thanks,
