Indeed Ekiga cannot use http proxy to register with the SIP proxy , and even
if it does you would not be able to put your call ...

The best way to ba able to use SIP with a http proxy is to use wengophone
with a wengo account, they have an http server in Paris to tunnel your SIP
traffic. if you are on Windows there is also the real tunnel solution which
would work with ekiga.

Maybe Ekiga druid should tell somthing about the http proxy case .
