[Ekiga-list] trace of problem getting Ekiga to work in Kubuntu gutsy

I finally figured out what was going on. Another program was using port
5060 so I changed the port ekiga uses to 5061 using gconf-editor.
Everything is working well now. Thanks everyone for helping out.
