I don't see a crash but a SIGABRT, which can happen with memory
problems.

And I see this:

#9  0xb7ef5e51 in operator delete () from /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6
#10 0xb7ef5e51 in operator delete () from /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6
#11 0xb54cd8fc in QPen::~QPen () from /usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
#12 0xb54cdcad in QPainter::~QPainter () from /usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
#13 0xb594da84 in drawFrame () from /opt/gnome/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/engines/libqtengine.so
#14 0xb594a684 in qtengine_style_register_type () from /opt/gnome/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/engines/libqtengine.so

Can you try with another theme than the QT theme?

Thanks,
