I'm not sure, but I think this version doesn't support V4L2 very well.

You have 2 alternatives :
- Use V4L1 in Ekiga (like Camstream is doing)
- Upgrade to
http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/snapshots/pwc-v4l2-20060816-042701.tar.bz2
