dogtail-devel Ubuntu (5.10) Linux, Missing Children

Many of the samples I try to run fail with missing children.
I tried under an FC4 box, but it seems to want some Pango stuff which 
appears to only be available under FC5.
When running under Ubuntu, if I start epiphany before I start the google 
sample, it doesn't fail there, but later fails with the browseToUrl (the 
url appears in the search bar first).
Any ideas?

We use Agile with a web based interface. I want to use this with Firefox 
to automate running reports at night.
