This is a very similar bug to the one I submitted a fix for, in the past
week, but this is is about when hovering over the pathbar buttons. You can

Hi,
How to mount an arbitrary USB stick in Debian Wheezy **BOTH**
automatically and manually in Nautilus with `umask=0444` (or better with
`umask=0044`,`uid=0`,`gid=0`).  

* By automatically I mean, when its inserted it is automounted with the
options mentioned above (and the user should have no option to avoid
this). This can be achieved for example with 'udisks-glue' (`umask=0444`
but not `umask=0044`,`uid=0`,`gid=0`).  

* By manually I mean, once the stick was automounted and then
"ejected/unmounted" by pressing the "eject" button and then mounted
manually again by double pressing on the device icon in the sidebar of
the Nautilus file manager. Also in this case it should get mounted with
the options `umask=0444` (or better with `umask=0044`,`uid=0`,`gid=0`).
Udisks-glue doesn't help in this case and its automount options are
ignored.  

It would be nice if it would also be consistent with `fstab`, i.e. if
`mount` is called from the command line it should either be mounted with
the options or the user should not be allowed to run `mount`.

Not sure how restrictive udisks is these days, used to be very
(atleast udisks2 was very restrictive, but was probably just Arch using
it before they should have done. I steer clear of Arch for many
reasons now). 

I often remove udisks because it depends on polkit or just
disable polkit due to rediculous dependencies that have no real
grounds, K3B often breaks by default without it too (it would
seem because they are really dumb and don't understand Unix group
permissions anymore).

The usbmount package could do with a little work but should give you all
the power you need. There is also spacefm and udevil which allows you
to pick and choose from sudo, polkit, suid etc..

I believe both options allow you to use all the power of the mount
command including future ones or any other command.

Bookmarks are stored on the file ~/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks (on earlier
versions it was ~/.gtk-bookmarks).

You can also add the currently open folder to the bookmarks from the
"Location Options" menu > "Bookmark This Location".

Hi,

1. how can I disable icons presenting content (like icon of an image
file showing that image in small format in the file manager) system
wide. Users should not be able to enable it back.

2. I have made files in some folder unreadable. When I copy an image
file there (that normaly presents its content with its icon) its icon,
as expected, stops showing the image. the same happens to videos.
however mp3 that have an embedded image are shown with icons
displaying this image. the mp3's themselves are not playable... how
can I disable images in the mp3 files icons?
