I've filled a feature request f= or a spell checker for commit messages alongside with a patch.

Sounds great! Is the c= ode in progress available anywhere? I also planned to create a patch for th= e second feature request I've opened (monospaced fonts), but I guess I = shoud wait and make it against the rewrite.
