Diego,

thanks for your recent message saying you're interested in helping out 
with Geary.  We have lots to do and would be happy to have your help!

Geary is already nearly usable for day-to-day email, but is quite slow, 
mostly because we fetch previews for all messages before fetching the 
body of the currently selected message.  To fix this, we're planning to 
make major changes to the IMAP engine soon so that it will fetch 
messages incrementally and in a smarter order.  That's 
http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4462 .  I think that will occupy much of 
our attention here at Yorba in the next couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, we're interested in any other bug or feature listed at 
http://redmine.yorba.org/projects/geary/issues?query_id=5 , especially 
those targeted for the 0.1 milestone.  I'd recommend starting with a 
relatively modest bug or feature such as one of these:
