Hi, I'd like to take this space for a public service announcement. If you thought you'd make your app cool and take advantage of the new gnome-vfs authentication dialog by simply adding gnome_authentication_manager_init () to your program, think again. It means your program and any library functions it calls can never use *any* synchronous gnome-vfs call that could possibly open a file, or you will face deadlocks or crashes.
