Hi.
I believe that what you are experiencing is an known issue related to
Vmware. I do recall that some other list members have been experiencing
audio problems with Vmware. This may or may not be related to the problem
you are having. Since I don't have any suitable hardware to test Vmware
on, perhaps some other list members can be of more assistance.
