Hello,
There was an issue regarding speaking punctuation while reviewing text
by character fixed about a month before. See the bug report:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=512608 . Still the behaviour
which is described there can be replicated by opening any website in the
firefox 3 and reading by character. No spaces, dots, commas, dashes,
exclamation marks etc etc. are not spoken while arrowing over them.
Has this been noticed? I've mentioned it in the discussion when the
patches from that bug were applied but it looks no one except me is
seeying this as a bug.
If there is not a bug can anybody please let me know what might I try
adjusting?
I am currently runing Orca compiled from gnome-2-22 branch,
speech-dispatcher 0.6.6 and espeak 1.31.21 test.
Also the problem can be replicated by trying to spell a line, or word in
flat review (just press numpad8 twice on a line where some punctuation
marks are written and you'll get a silence at their places).
As gnome 2.22 is going to be released soon I see this as a critical issue.
