Jonathan > You will be interested in this thread: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/orca-list/2008-December/msg00319.html I will summarize: Recent changes in Gtk+ and gnome-settings-daemon broke accessibility for non-Gtk+ apps that use Gtk+ (this includes Firefox, OpenOffice, and others). Basically openSUSE, being brand new, used a brand new version of Gtk that requires some accessibility fixes for applicaitons that use Gtk. The Fixes are currently being worked on.
