Hi Will and list I think is a good idea to have this page to share this information, can help a lot improving the performance. I will contribute my configuration and all performance issues I am experimenting. Recently I have improved my performance by preventing use of too much swap memory. A trick is to change /proc/sys/vm/swappiness value from 60 to 10, so the system uses mainly ram memory instead of swap memory and I have noted now the system is more stable. I am using an Acer Travelmate 290 laptop with 512 mb ram Regards, Javier El lun, 26-11-2007 a las 10:38 -0500, Willie Walker escribió: > Hi All: > > I wonder if we should try to keep a page of "System configurations known > to work with Orca" on our WIKI.
