Hello Lorenzo,
I think that installing FF3 in /usr/local and creating a symlink causes
the problem; you should remove this completely.
I run both "Foxes" under Ubuntu Edgy, and I've copied teh tarball of FF3
in my home directory. As far as I've tested the latest FF3, I must say
that it's one of the best versions for a long time.
