Hi Joanie,

Thanks for the hint at the BrlTTY version 3.8. I compiled BrlTTY with
the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local
make
make install

This does work on the console, but Orca does not address the braille
display anymore.

Would I have to compile the current BrlAPI as well or use a different
setting when compiling BrlTTY?

As I do not really need the new feature, I might rather wait for an
updated version of BrlTTY for Debian.
