network manager Question

I got a Sierra wireless aircard 881 pc card.I got ubuntu 9.04 and it pick up my pc card but when it try to connect there no light on the pcard when i try t connect to it.I think it the network manger i had no prob in the ubuntu 8.10 i had to update it but there no update for this one.

i hope someone can help me.:)
