Refreshing/reviewing patch on BGO 509660

There was a good patch to move the Zoom and View As controls to the main toolbar in Nautilus
[1]. The idea seemed to be accepted by Christian Neumair in a related
bug [2]. Problem is, it's a year old and needs updating to work in the
current codebase.

I wish I could help, but I'm not able to work with the source code
enough to update the patch. I'm mostly just an interested party with
BGO powers. :) I was wondering how best to breathe some new life into
it and get it reviewed/accepted/etc.
