How about an emblem appearing if one icon only is selected, that
triggers the rename-function?



Or we can even show it if multiple icons as selected, if you want to
rename a bunch at a time like:

Select a.png, foo.png and bar.png
Make it possible to rename them into image001.png, image002.png,
image003.png

But that is another history.
