[Nautilus-list] Shortest Road to GNOME 2?

Nautilus ML,

I want to contribute to advancing Nautilus code and it
appears that the conversion from GNOME 1 to GNOME 2
is well on its way.  What is the fastest way to get
GNOME 2?  I checked out "gnome" from gnome.org's cvs
archive but I'm not quite convinced that this is the
best route to go.  Anyone have any insights?
