I don't know particulars about contributions he's made to other
projects (though I know they have been plentiful), but his work on
xchat-gnome has been fantastic.  He's contributed a lot of code,
helped review patches, worked with bugs, etc.  I absolutely believe he
should be a foundation member -- anything GNOME can do to bring him
closer to the community is worthwhile!
