+1 He was one the most active volunteers during GUADEC 2006, and I invited him to apply. He showed GNOME love and commitment, and also knowledge of the project and platform. He is very active in Linux groups in the north of Spain and, well, he volunteered to transport and pick the GUADEC merchandising materials of GUADEC Hispano.
